Today I had my eyes examined, while I found my PD is 72mm, is there something wrong with my eyes or the apparatus? I was told that regular PD range is between 55~65mm. Do I have to buy prescription glasses?

No, if that is your pd then that is your pd. Everyone has a different measurements but the average is in that range. So there is nothing wrong with your eyes, I would double check though because this measurement needs to be dead on for progressive lens wearers.
